Land acquisition manager is responsible for overseeing the process of buying land or other real estate resources. He/She works with a variety of clients, including sellers, real estate agents, authorities, land owners, and more.


  • at least 2 years of experience in land acquisitions
  • excellent real estate market overview
  • very good knowledge of building/catastral law and related regulations is essential
  • good understanding of cashflow calculations and feasibility study
  • university education ideally in construction field or economics
  • flexibility; very good negotiations and analytic skills
  • fluent Czech and English
  • ambitious and target oriented person

Land acquisition manager typically begins by identifying potential land/properties that might be available for purchase. This might involve researching cadastral register, land bank register, local zoning plans, zoning laws, conducting environmental assessments, and performing other research to determine which properties would be most suitable for their client’s needs.


  • Market research and identification plots of land for pottential acquisition
  • Negotiating prices with sellers to achieve the best price while still maintaining profitability goals
  • Coordinating with lawyers, project managers, appraisers, contractors, and other specialists to complete land acquisition deals
  • Analyzing and Categorizing land parcels to assess value, easements, ownership as well as researching zoning laws and potential development projects to determine if a parcel is suitable for purchase
  • Reviewing legal documents to ensure all requirements are met prior to closing on a purchase
  • Reviewing and approving bids on acquired land
  • Evaluating title records to determine ownership and encumbrances, such as titles, easements and others
  • Creates and maintaines companys Landbank
  • Preparing reports
